No Face to Face Events? No Problem! Great Feedback For July's Webinars.

"The most damaging phrase in the language is 'we've always done it this way!'" -

Its been a crazy couple of months in more ways than one. For us at ETSols it's represented a huge shift in the way we do business day to day (and will continue to in the future). Six month ago, webinars weren't even on our radar as we preferred to focus purely on classroom based seminars for smaller groups. However, like a lot of companies out there we were forced to adjust to the new reality of the world pretty quickly in order to survive as a business.

This past month we've been able to hold two new webinars aimed at those involved in bridge engineering. The first of these was held on the 23rd July and was on an Introduction to Fracture Mechanics Analysis for Fatigue Cracks.

This was a modified version of a one day course we've previously ran on Advanced Methods for Fatigue Analysis of Bridges, covering the first 2 hours of what is normally a 6 hour classroom based course.

Our next webinar was a totally new webinar which ran 30th July and offered an Introduction to Scour Assessment of Bridges.

Reception to both of these, as seen above has been excellent so far (huge thanks do Dr Boulent Imam who developed and delivered both of these). Our transition to webinars has not always been seamless and we've had to "learn on the job" plenty these past few month, so it's great to know we're heading in the right direction.

Whilst we can't wait to get back to delivering class room based events again in 2021 we've really enjoyed the opportunities webinars have given our business. We've had the opportunity to work with dozens of new companies that, due to geographical, restrictions we may not have previously had they chance to, and look forward to working with more in the future.
